Love in the Time of Corona: This acrylic painting was started the day after lockdown was announced during the pandemic in early 2020. Allan Sousa is a Bahamian artist based out of Rhode Island who is almost always high. His paintings focus on intimacy and the dynamics of power in relationships. He also likes to paint cats and fish. He is the curator of the Black Walls gallery in the New Dia dispensary next to Fenway Park in Boston, MA, where he brings the most talented artists from New England together to create a show by artists, for artists.
